In December 2004 I asked a question of the Havanese yahoo group, "My Havanese is 6 months old, should I start an beginning obedience class or a beginning agility class?" It was Sue Nelson who wrote me back and from there Teddy and I started our career in AKC performance sports. Every title we have started with help from Sue even though we were on opposite coasts of the country. When we didn't know how to do something, or train something, or what our next step was; Sue guided us along. She was a remarkably giving person who has reached so many. Her passing is a great loss felt deeply.
